Integral £5,500
Double £8,000
Detached £8,000/ £10,000.
An example of the type of specification you would receive is as follows for an integral garage, this is the most common type of garage in the UK.
Timber or concrete floor.
PVCu window to front elevation,
all insulation requirements,
electrical installation, 4 double power sockets, up to 10 down lights, 1 ganged dimmer switch,
make opening and provide door and casing/ or decorative arch work, fire check door if required,
provide radiator,
box in and provide cabinet doors to any gas/ electric meters,
all plastering including ceiling,
all finishes including skirting and sills,
all brickwork and blockwork,
all timber studding to walls,
Laminated flooring [optional extra],
You will note that the example prices are much less than that of a Loft conversion, and are more in parity with a standard conservatory.
